Helen recently organised another successful 'High Scorers Concert' celebrating the talent and success of local young musicians. Helen has received an award from the Associated Board for 30 years service as Honorary Local Representative.
Beverley Jones has also recently joined Soroptimist International of Swansea.(SI Swansea). Beverley was named Administration of Estates Student of the Year for November 2010 examinations. An ‘Excellence Award’ was presented to Beverley by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners at an awards evening held in London. Congratulations!
BACK FROM BRIGHTON-REGIONAL PRESIDENT RHIAN!
Soroptimists from Swansea and South Wales were well represented at the National conference in Brighton when Swansea member Rhian Williams became Wales South Regional President. The conference celebrated successful project work and re-stated the aims of the organisation.
Soroptimists are committed to a world where women and girls together achieve their individual and collective potential, realise aspirations and have an equal voice in creating strong and peaceful communities worldwide.
